We’ve updated Unit 8.1.6 (COVID-19 Status Extensions) with all the details.

We’ve updated Unit 4.2.6 (Air Canada Aeroplan) with the latest information on buying and redeeming Aeroplan points.

New video demonstrations of finding award availability on Air Canada & Alitalia websites

We’ve updated our video demonstration showing how to find Star Alliance award availability on the Air Canada website in Unit 5.2.3 (Find Star Alliance Award Availability) showing the new procedure for searching on Air Canada’s own website (previously, you needed to log in to the separate Aeroplan website to search for award availability).

We’ve also added a brand new video to Unit 5.2.4 (Find SkyTeam Award Availability) showing how to search for SkyTeam award seats without needing a frequent flyer account on the Alitalia website.

Alaska Airlines joins Oneworld alliance

Alaska Airlines is now a member of the Oneworld alliance, meaning you can earn Qantas points & status credits and receive Oneworld status benefits on all Alaska Airlines flights. You can also now include Alaska Airlines flights as part of a Oneworld Classic Flight Reward. However, it will still be a few more months until the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan program opens up award bookings on all Oneworld flights.

We’ve updated all references in the training to Alaska Airlines and Oneworld to reflect that Alaska Airlines is now part of the alliance.
